Medical Interpreter Proficiency Qualification (MIPQ)

Assesses the accuracy and completeness of interpreted medical role-play scenarios including high-level medical terminology (as well as commonplace terms encountered in medical settings), with additional optional modules to assess knowledge and implementation of cultural competency, as well as knowledge and implementation of medical interpreter ethics, industry standards, and protocol, such as transparency. All candidates are tested using common general medical scenarios.
